The Mile is the universal unit of measurement for air travel distances and is, by extension, the unit used by most airline frequent flyer programmes.
Miles cannot be converted into cash or sold. TUNISAIR reserves the right to pursue any fraudulent manipulation of a Member's mileage account.
The Miles earned by the Member shall be credited to the Member's account, in compliance with the terms and conditions of the Fidelys programme and the Miles scale.
- Award Miles: are Miles earned on scheduled or code-share TUNISAIR flights, on TUNISAIR Partners, Bonus Miles (Welcome bonus, Family bonus, Card bonus) as well as Promo rewards. They can either be redeemed for Status Miles or used to purchase Fidelys awards.
Award Miles are valid for 36 months.Award Miles are valid for 36 months. - Status Miles: these are the Miles earned following each Qualifying flight on TUNISAIR. They are only used to determine the Fidelys Status (Classic, Silver, or Gold). They are valid for 12 months from the date of awarding of the first Status Mile (or level date).
The Status Miles balance will be reset to zero at the expiry of the level date.
The mileage award ratio depends on the booking class and the fare applied on the route (see Mileage Chart and Mileage Award Ratio Table).
Award tickets and free tickets (travel industry reduced rates, free or non-revenue tickets) are excluded from Miles.
Upon joining the programme, only scheduled flights operated by TUNISAIR, at a fare accepted by the programme and performed during the 04 weeks prior to joining the programme can be retroactively credited.
Miles are automatically credited to a Member's account only if they have presented their Fidelys card when booking and/or checking in for their trip.
Active Members will receive, upon request, a statement of account indicating their current credit balance and other information concerning the Fidelys programme.
Members can check the balance of their Award and Status Miles account and the number of qualifying flights on the TUNISAIR website, at TUNISAIR agencies, or at Espace Fidelys. To do so, they must have their login and pin code.
Each Member should verify that Status Miles and, or Bonus Award Miles have been duly credited to the Member’s account. This can be verified online www.tunisair.com or on their account statement.
In case of any discrepancy, a request for adjustment must be made within 6 months after the date of the flight concerned, provided that Fidelys is provided with full proof of the service (date, flight number, and/or ticket number).
The Company reserves the right to debit the account of any Member who has unduly credited Miles.
In case of flight cancellations, by TUNISAIR or code-share companies caused by, including but not limited to, weather conditions, labour disputes, or security reasons, the Member will not earn Miles.
Each Member must provide their name and ID (exactly as written on the card, if they have one) when booking and using TUNISAIR services.
Services provided by non-airline Partners entitle the Member to earn Miles (only Award Miles) on the basis of the conditions specified in the Fidelys Schedule.
If a Member has not traveled on TUNISAIR for a period of 36 months, TUNISAIR reserves the right to cancel the Award Miles and terminate the Membership unilaterally. It is the Member's responsibility to check the expiry date of their Award Miles.
Members are not entitled to award miles if the name provided at the time of booking does not exactly match the name on their card, or if they have provided incomplete information at the time of booking.
Status Miles are awarded based on the fare paid, the class of reservation chosen for the trip, and the distance traveled.
In order to be entitled to Miles, the Member must actually make the trip indicated on the ticket.
Miles can only be credited once per flight and per Member, regardless of the number of seats reserved.
Miles will not be awarded on unused, forfeited, fraudulent, lost, out-of-date, or refunded tickets or transactions.
In the event that a Member is unintentionally rebooked by TUNISAIR on a flight of another airline and the original flight booked would have been eligible for Miles, the Member shall be entitled to claim such Miles online at www.tunisair.com. The Company will use every effort to credit the Member's account with the corresponding Miles. However, it may be necessary to send the travel documents to a TUNISAIR agency or by e-mail.
The Member shall acquire a personal account to which the Miles earned shall be credited. Neither Miles nor accounts may be transferred, sold, or combined with the account of another person, whether or not participating in this program.
TUNISAIR has the right at any time to cancel, suspend and/or change any of the benefits of the Programme.
TUNISAIR may expand its Fidelys program to include other partners. The company will inform Members of the integration and the conditions ruling the agreement between TUNISAIR and its new partners.
Miles and/or advantages (discounts, benefits, privileges ...) can also be obtained with non-airline partners of Fidelys, and this, according to the conditions defined by each partner and described in the Fidelys communication.
It is the Member's responsibility to present their Fidelys card when booking or purchasing the service from the partners. It is the Member's responsibility to check with the partners when using their services to verify the conditions in force.
The partners benefiting from specific agreements are solely responsible for the conditions of awarding Miles (Award Miles only) and/or advantages (discounts, benefits, privileges, etc.) concerning their services.
TUNISAIR declines all responsibility for the non-performance of services by partners. Any complaint in this regard may only be submitted to the partners concerned.
